Bangla novel Kobi is one of the finest writings of Humayun Ahmed. The book was first published in 1996 by Kakoli prokashoni. Kobi is in my favourite books list. I read this book many times.
This is a story of a middle class family. Humayun Ahmed focused on their problems, love, sorrow, affection and many real things. Main character was Atahar. He was unemployed. His other two friends were Sazzad and Mojid. They all were poets. Atahar loved Sazzad’s sister, Nitu. Nitu also loved him. But they never told each other about their love. The story was ended with a pathetic situation.

Great novel
Actually i know about the Bangla novel Kobi is one of the finest writings of Humayun Ahmed. He is a all rounder person. Already he was created many many poet, drama story, drama, movie story and many more. But in the mean time he is not in our world, he has died. I pray for him, God bless him.
